Yolanda was a strong presence in Dr John Rumble's orthodontic office, across the hallway from my general dentist office. She was always genuinely smiling and kind, full of joy and exuberant energy. Yolanda was a wonderful neighbor to me and the staff for the 17 years that we worked in this same building. Whenever we needed to borrow supplies or a service, she was eager to help us out. Yolanda was a bright, shining light and she will be missed.

It is not often you meet a sweet soul like Yolanda.  Warm, gentle, slow to anger--just an all-around gentle soul.  I cannot say she lit up a room when she entered because she did not really care to be seen. I don't even know if she was aware of her own beauty and influence on others.  She chose to be silent and out of the limelight. I have often said, I wish I had the calm spirit she had when it came to correcting my children. She couldn't even sound angry when she was.  I think the kids may have laughed at her trying to sound firm and stern (because I did).  Yolanda will truly be missed.  We did not talk often but she knew she could call on me whenever she needed to.  We shared in a common tragedy, which left me to believe her happiness was extinguished then. She is now in the arms of our Father where she will be happy evermore.  Love Gwen 

My deepest sympathy is extended to this family. I know the pain of the absence of a loved one too well. I am praying for the family. The last time I saw Yolanda was at my niece’s birthday dinner at wasabi 2 years ago. We sat by each other and shared laughs and enjoyed a good meal. What a sweet lady! May she rest well. May God’s peace be yours during this sad time.
