Born in Detroit on November 18,1952 to Irvin and Grace Hall. Growing up in Garden City he was active
in the Garden City Presbyterian Church. Davids true love was music, he played keyboard and coronet.
Upon graduating from Garden City East High School Dave was offered a scholarship to Juillard in
New York to study music. At that time he was playing in a Rock Band named Salem Witchcraft with
great promise to be a Rock Star.(his dream) As anyone living in Detroit area knows Salem really
Rocked.. David will always be remembered as the crazy redhead on the Hammond Keyboard.
Some of the other bands Dave has played with are Bogart, Valventro Blues Band, Blues Life,
Drunken Monkeys, Simpatico, Aftermath, No Boundries and Mainstreet to name a few.
David was the kind of person you just fell in love with on first meeting. He was a very funny
guy making people laugh with his silly faces and stories.
He battled cancer for 2 years passing to soon he had a lot of music still in him. He has left
behind 2 children David and Linda,3 grandchildren Alex, Emily and Conner, a loving sister Pat and
a wife Janet.
