

Deloris Amelia Brown “Charlie”, Age 91, Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, & friend. Born on February 17, 1920 & went to be with the Lord on June, 27, 2011. Deloris was born in Paulding, Ohio to Peter & Agnes Eschbach. Beloved wife of the late Carl; Proud mother of her two sons, Thomas & Mark Brown, one daughter Susan (John) Chapman; Cherished grandmother of Christine (Chris) Gores, Michelle Chapman, Adam & Aaron Brown, and step-grandson Matthew (Zoe) Chapman; Dear sister of Norman Eschbach, Lucille Fatchett, Sally Greeley, Al, Raymond & Harold Eschbach; Deloris was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; Deloris was a long time resident of Pontaic and a member of St. Benedicts Catholic Church, Deloris did volunteer work for the March of Dimes, United Way, & the League of Catholics Women. For years she visited the sick in nursing homes & foster care homes. After retirement from Sears & Roebuck she spent her time enjoying her children, grandchildren, and playing cards. An Active member of the Ruth Peterson Senior Center she was an avid euchre & pinochle player. Deloris will lie in-state on June 30, 2011, beginning at 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am, at St. Benedicts Catholic Church 80 S. Lynn Street Waterford, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in her memory to St. Benedicts Catholic Church or Lourdes Nursing Home. Arrangements entrusted to the Pixley Funeral Home Godhardt-Tomlinson Chapel.
