Garrison, James M., age 91, passed away on November 7, 2014. Beloved husband of Dorothy for 70 years. Loving father of Michael (Nancy) Garrison, Timothy (Dottie) Garrison, and Suzanne (Tim) O'Neill. Dearest grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 1. Jim and his wife were residents of Royal Oak for most of their lives and lived in West Bloomfield for the past 10 years. Jim coached baseball, football, and was one of the founders of the Royal Oak Hockey Association. He spent over 30 years running the concession at Memorial Park and the Royal Oak Ice Rink. He also owned a maintenance company and worked at the Daily Tribune for 17 years. Jim was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. A private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15.
