PETERSEN, Martin K., age 69, born on December 17, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI and passed on July 2, 2011 in Royal Oak, Michigan. Beloved husband of Judy Petersen for 46 years; Loving father of Chris (Lynne) Petersen, Kyle (Amy) Petersen & the late Erica Jane Petersen; Cherished grandfather of PFC Benjamin Wilkinson USMC, Samantha Wilkinson, Scotty Petersen, Justin Petersen, Erica Petersen, Annika Petersen, Lillian “Paige” Petersen, & Emma Kate Petersen; Marty bravely served his country as a scout helicopter pilot where he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross as one of his many service medals. He was proud to also have served as the first tour guide at Ft. Mackinac on Mackinac Island.
