

Patricia Ann Burman, age 97, passed away on April 19, 2026, in Waterford, Michigan. Born on January 25, 1929, Patricia dedicated her life to her family and her community. Patricia was a loving wife to her late husband, Hugo V. Burman, and a caring mother, raising eight boys with a steadfast and nurturing spirit. Her home was always filled with love and music, her voice a familiar comfort to those around her. Patricia was deeply involved in her church, contributing her time and talents to both Trinity United Methodist Church and Four Towns United Methodist Church.
She was known for her strong will and level-headed approach to life's challenges, always ready to lend a hand to someone in need. Her presence was a pillar in her community and an anchor within her family.
Patricia attended Roosevelt Elementary and graduated from Roosevelt High School (Class of 1946). Her commitment to her family led her to focus on being a stay-at-home mom, a role she cherished deeply.
She is survived by her sons Terry Burman and his wife Tammy, Bobbie Burman, Rickie Burman and his spouse Greg White, Stevie Burman and his spouse Walter Woods, Randy Burman and his wife Joni, Jeffery Burman, and Jamie Burman. Grandmother of 11 grandchildren and Great-Grandmother of 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Hugo, her son Danny, her sisters Muriel and Natalie, and her parents Franklin and Mildred Bailey.
Patricia will be remembered for her unwavering love, her generous spirit, and her enduring faith. Her legacy will continue to live on through her family and all those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association (www.als.org) in memory of her son, Danny Burman, who passed away from the disease in August 2025.
