It is with great sadness we announce that the world became a less colorful, less vibrant place on Sunday, July 28th. Under a lavender morning sky, Roseann Jenkins (Beall) slipped peacefully & gracefully through the door and began her journey into the great unknowable beyond.
Beloved wife of Guy, mother of Aaron (Rachel) Jenkins and Emily (Ian) Griffith, loving Grams of Stella (6), Hailey (3), Noah (1), Keenan (5), and Lydia (3). She is survived by siblings Catherine, Christopher, Matthew, Patricia, and Timothy, and preceded in death by her father, Charles and mother, Sarahlea. She was warm & welcoming, and will be missed deeply by the countless others whose lives were touched by her caring heart & vibrant spirit.
Rose was born on February 23rd, 1961 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Livonia, MI. As one of six children, she grew up on Columbia Avenue in Redford, MI, among many other large families. She learned from an early age the importance of caring for others and giving freely. She met Guy at age 19, and immediately began a fulfilling, 43-year long partnership & marriage. They moved to Keego Harbor, had children, and built a life & home together on the shores of Dollar Lake. For the next four plus decades, she filled the lives of her family & others with incredible love, light, and color.
Storyteller & artist, bath taker & boater, music lover & thrift shopper, she loved baking & making memories. She nourished everyone with delicious food & unconditional love. She leaves a legacy of caring that will be remembered forever.
Family, friends, and acquaintances are invited to celebrate Rose’s life on Wednesday, July 31st from 2pm – 8pm at Family Funeral Care, located at 2904 Orchard Lake Road, Keego Harbor, MI 48320. Flower arrangements are welcomed and can be sent to the funeral home.
Main eulogies will be given around 7pm, and attendees are invited to share their stories throughout the service.
We are also creating a custom bound book of "Rose's Stories", and asking anyone who would like to share a story/memory to submit via weblink, www.forcedjoyproject.com/story-submissions , or available on QR code during visitation.
For those interested in making a donation on Rose's behalf, please consider giving to the American Red Cross. If you are able, you can also honor Rose's memory by donating blood.
