Nikolas, Sarah "Jane” Holmes, age 91, from Grand Blanc and previously Troy, Michigan, passed peacefully on September 28, 2021. Cremation has taken place. Jane was born January 2, 1930 in Saginaw to Ralph and Iva (Wilkes) Holmes. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School and attended Michigan State College. She loved reading, needlework, and quilting, and she had quite the green thumb. She was an avid collector of antiques, artwork, and pigs. Most importantly, Jane loved her family. Jane is survived by her children, Bob (Deb) Nikolas of Howell, David Nikolas (Dawn Oehmke)of Orchard Lake, John Nikolas of Bloomfield Hills, and Jennifer Hall of Fenton; and her beloved granddaughters, Tracy Nikolas, Lindsay Hall, Ashley Hall, and Lauren Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law Mary Ellen and Ted Shreve, and son-in-law James Hall.
