Thomas Earl Wright

Thomas Earl Wright, 91, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away May 18th, 2017. He was born in Huntsville, Alabama on June 20th, 1925. Thomas graduated from high school in 1943 and served his country in the US Army from 1950 to 1952. He married Thelma Louise Wright on April 25th, 1953. Thomas worked in the automotive industry for 33 years as a maintenance welder for General Motors. He was a member of the VFW and had a passion for his family, friends, gardening, reading, history, politics, swimming, boating, fishing and riding in his golf cart. He enjoyed being by the ocean, socializing, country music, traveling and golfing. He was survived by his children, Thomas Wright, Robert Wright and Linda Conlin. His grandchildren, Brandon Wright, Jason Wright, Adam Wright, Jaki Butler, Brittany Mogg, Ryan Conlin, Shane Conlin, and Brianna Dougherty. His great-grandchildren, Alexis and Patrick Wright. His sisters, Eleanor, Ann, and Mamee who preceded his passing. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 p.m. on Friday May 26th , 2017 at Pixley Funeral Home, Godhardt-Tomlinson Chapel, 2904 Orchard Lake Rd, in Keego Harbor.
