

Timothy A. Tenbusch of Commerce Township, Michigan passed away on October 21, 2021 at the age of 72. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 7, 1949. Tim graduated from Ferndale High school and received Associate degrees from both Oakland Community College and Lansing Community College. He married Deb Biggs Tenbusch on March 17, 2018. Tim had careers in automotive sales, financial services, aircraft maintenance services, and insurance services. He was a member of Metro-West Steelheaders, Oakland County Sportmen’s Club, Paint Creek Center for the Arts, Great Lakes Pastel Society, as well as being a member of many other clubs and associations over the years. He had a passion for pastel painting, fishing, hunting, boating, riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, garage saleing, and his Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife Deb; children Timothy A. Tenbusch II and Joseph (Jamie) M. Tenbusch and two grandchildren; step-son Patrick J. Thomas; mother Margaret; brothers, Al (Sue) Tenbusch; Rick Tenbusch (Lisa M. DuRoss); and sisters Jane (George) Cwiek and Lori Tenbusch, plus eleven nieces and nephews and thirteen great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass and Celebration of Tim’s Life will be held at St. Perpetua Catholic Church, 134 Airport Rd.,Waterford, MI on November 6, 2021. Visitation at 9:30 a.m; remarks at 10:45 a.m.; Funeral Mass at 11:00. A luncheon and celebration of Tim’s life will follow at the Shark Club, 6665 Highland Rd., Waterford, MI.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Paint Creek Center for the Arts in support of a scholarship fund in Tim’s name and/or the Metro-West Steelheaders in support of the MUCC Wilderness Youth Camp.
