Aezon Leighton Ae-Raison, just 17 years old, left us far too soon on Thursday, July 10th, 2025. Born September 6, 2007, in Houston, Texas, to Melvin Ae and Josephine Ann Raison-Ae, Aezon brought a bright and unforgettable energy into the world from day one.
Aezon was a high school senior, working hard toward his GED as he set his sights on one of his biggest dreams: joining the United States Marine Corps. That goal was never just about himself; he wanted to make his family proud and serve something greater.
Those who knew Aezon will remember his love for gaming, the thrill of fast cars, and the simple joy of fishing at Stillhouse Lake or whatever waterhole he stumbles across. He was always up for a game of bowling or a good laugh with friends and family. He had a knack for making any gathering more fun, and his sense of humor was infectious. Aezon could get a room full of people smiling in seconds. Taking care of his younger brother Jayvin, who is non-verbal and on the Autism Spectrum, was something he did with pride and love. He cherished time spent hanging out with his siblings or close cousins, often bonding over late-night food deliveries or just being together.
Aezon’s legacy is one of laughter, loyalty, and deep love for his family. His playful teasing and the way he could light up a room will never be forgotten. His presence made every ordinary day a little brighter.
He leaves behind his parents, Melvin Ae and Josephine Raison-Ae; siblings Fa’afetaileali’i Raison Ae (Brother), Xyla A. Ae (Sister), Xoey A. Ae (Sister), Melvin J. Raison Ae (Brother), Joziah D. Ae-Reyes, and Jayvin W.V. Raison. He is also remembered with love by his nephew Jeremiah Raison and niece Kaleiahlani Raison, along with his Grandparents, The Honorable Lieutenant Govenor of American Samoa Pulumataala Ae Ae Jr. and Her Honour Titilupe Ae alongside Wayne Raison and Kimo & Loise Seigafo and the countless relatives and friends whose lives he touched.
Aezon’s life will be celebrated on Friday, July 25th, 2025, from 2PM to 4PM at Kingdom Builders Christian Center, 4705 E Rancier Ave, Killeen, Texas 76543.
In honor of Aezon, and in lieu of flowers, the Ae family asks that memorial donations be made in his name to www.autismspeaks.org, a cause close to their hearts.
We will sorely miss Aezon’s laughter, his kindness, and the way he made us all feel a little more alive. His memory will always live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. Till we meet again, Son! We love you dearly and miss you like crazy. ~ Our Ae Clan!
