Alice Myrtle Bennett Boone

Funeral Mass for Alice Boone 81 of Killeen will be Wednesday, February 17 at 2 PM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Adam Martinez officiating. Mrs. Boone passed away on February 11, 2010 in a Temple Hospital.

Mrs. Boone was born to Alfred and Alice Brown Boone on February 29, 1928 in Pass Christian, MS.

She attended and graduated for Randolph high school in Pass Christian. She later attended business school in New Orleans, L A.. She was a member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Pass Christian Ladies Auxiliary Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Rudolph T. Boone on December 5, 1998.

Survivors include Rudolph T. Boone Jr. of Austin, Joan C. Jones and husband Bill of Baton Rouge, LA., Mark E. Boone and Richard G. Boone both of Austin. Grandchildren Will Jones, Jr., Jazminem Boone, and Latisha A. Robinson. Sister Brenda Payne of Pass Christian, cousin Clara M. Hiller of Austin; Nieces, Karen Payne of Pass Christian, Lana Payne of Pass Christian, Arnetta Brown of Killeen and Connie Payne of Gulf Port, MS.

The family will receive guest for a time of visitation from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, February `6, 2010 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home and Rosary will be recited at 7 PM.

Alice was a devoted wife and mother. She was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She loved life , her family and most of all her Heavenly Father.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
