

Jane was born September 12, 1938, to Jack and Bessie Mae Tate Veazy in Lubbock, Texas.
She graduated from Lubbock High School where she played saxophone in the marching band. She married her high school sweetheart, Charles Robert “Bob” Daniels on December 23, 1957. Bob passed away in 2014.
Jane was a retired Dental Assistant. She enjoyed tennis, target shooting, archery, biking, traveling, and reading. She loved music and was the director of the Gatesville “Singing 60s” for several years. Jane and her husband, Bob, were active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and selflessly served in many church positions over the years. Her faith in Jesus Christ was inspirational to many people, both inside and outside of her church.
Recently, Jane fought Pancreatic Cancer with a very positive attitude and shared with everyone she met the miracles and tender mercies she experienced during that time.
Jane was predeceased by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her brother, Jackie Veazy and wife Sandra of Lubbock, Texas, her sister, Kathy Wolff of Wichita, Kansas, her son, Mark Daniels, of Temple, Texas, and “surrogate son” Gary Shreve and wife, Angela, of Midlothian, Texas, three nephews, one niece, and a host of friends whom she loved like family.
A Service will be held on Saturday, February 21 at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 303 Hornet Way, Gatesville, Texas. Interment will be Monday, February 23, 10am at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, Texas.
