Annette Brock Harmon

A memorial service for Annette Harmon will be 11am Friday March 25, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church in Harker Heights. Annette Harmon was born to Frank and Estelle Brock November 17, 1922, in Mansfield Louisiana and passed away March 21, 2016 in Harker Heights. She grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana and graduated from C. E. Byrd High School. Upon graduation from high school Annette enrolled at Louisiana Tech College and graduated in 1942. She worked her way through college earned a diploma in three years. Annette met Tom Harmon and they were wed February 8, 1943, a marriage that lasted over seventy years. They had two sons, Dennis and Bob Harmon. Annette was preceded in death by her husband Tom Harmon, her parents Frank and Estelle Brock, and two brothers, Ivan and Charles Brock. She is survived by her sons Dennis and his spouse Beverly, Bob and his spouse Cathy, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Annett taught in the Killeen School District for over thirty years and strived to set goals for students to better themselves. Her love and caring ways will be sorely missed by those who loved and knew her. Rest in peace Annette.
