Our Angel, Anthony Guido Medina, is in Heaven. He was 15 when he passed on August 4, 2024 at his home. He is with God and in a place of peace and joy now. We don’t understand why and it is extremely painful, but God is in Control and God called Anthony to Heaven at the divine moment He had planned for Anthony even before birth. Anthony believed in Jesus. We love and miss Anthony so much with all our hearts, but we will see him again. Amen
Anthony was about to begin 10th grade. He enjoyed be a gamer, but he had plans to join a boxing club as soon as he turned 16 on September 21st. He was studying for his driver’s permit and planning to start working to buy his own car when he graduated. He was so excited about life and his future.
Anthony is survived by his Mother, Franchesca Sierra; his Father, Yenier Medina; His Grandmothers Debra Lewis and Maricel Perez; his Grandfathers, Sammy Sierra Sr and Guido Medina; his Uncles, Sammy Sierra Jr, Duane Franklin (Great Uncle), Christopher Hester, Darrell Jones, and Renier Perez; his Aunts, Katherine Franklin (great aunt), Claudia Okafor (Great Aunt), Briana Hester, Marissa Franklin, and Jasmine Allen; Cousins, Salayna Sierra, Sammy Sierra III, Sa’Tina Sierra, Jordyn Hester, Sir-Darren Duncan, Alexander Okafor, Dominik Okafor and a host of friends.
A Service for Anthony will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Following the service will be a Committal Service at 3:00 PM at Garden of Memory Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Sammy Sierra Sr., Sammy Sierra Jr., Christopher Hester, James Lewis, Vashon Mitchell and Perry Snell Sr. .
