A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Lifeway Fellowship Church in Killeen with Jimmy Tower officiating.
AD was born on November 3, 1936 in Brady, Texas. AD’s love for his work in law enforcement was only eclipsed by his love for his family. His lifework included retiring from the Killeen Police Department and then going on to retire from the Bell County Sheriff’s Department.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Shirley, and children Diana, Carolyn, Wayne, and Brian. AD is also survived by his brothers Dean and Terry and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Bell County Sheriff’s Department Foundation.
Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen is in charge of the arrangements.
