

Christian emigrated to the United stated in 1957 and attended Bristol High School, graduating in the class of 1958. He later pursued higher education and obtained a Bachelor of Science from American Technological University.
He had a distinguished career in the United States Army, retiring in 1981 as a Military Intelligence Officer. His service was recognized with numerous commendations, including the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, Good Conduct Medal with Clasp, Bronze, four Loops; National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal with one Silver Service Star; Presidential Unit Citation; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; Meritorious Unit Commendation; and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm.
He had a long and rewarding second career in Real Estate dedicating all 43 years to the FT. Hood area, his home.
In 1965, Christian married Michelline, and together they had two children. Later, Christian married Lee in 2005.
He was predeceased by his parents, his first wife and his sisters, Mauricette, Madeline, Eliane and Therese.
Christian is survived by his wife, Lee Roussel; son, Christian James Roussel; daughter, Cynthia Roussel; stepdaughter, Nicole Huffner; nephew, Eric Viccario; nieces, Corinne Viccario and Judy Weller; grandson, Devan Roussel; granddaughter, Kennedy Christiane Peterson; great granddaughter, Brooklyn Roussel; and loyal doggie Bella (aka Minnie)
Christian lived a long and wonderful life, full of smiles, laughter and love. He was a true treasure, one in a million, and was loved by all of his many friends and family.
A Funeral Service will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, located at 1001 Georgetown Rd, Copperas Cove, TX 76522, on December 15, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A Committal Service will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
