David John Witkowicz Jr.

David John Witkowicz, Jr., 45, passed away at Seton Medical Center in Harker Heights on Thursday, September 7, 2017. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Chapel with Bishop Nathaniel Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.

David was born in Killeen on January 12, 1972. He graduated from Temple High School in 1990.

David is survived by his father, David Witkowicz, Sr.; mother, Judy Williams; sisters, Danielle Flores and Carrie Bryan; brothers, Bryan and Stephen; grandparents, Reverend Robert Miller and Barbra Miller; aunt, Katie Padgett; uncles, Robert Miller, David Berry and Randy Berry; nephew, John Flores; niece, Jordyen Flores-Charles; as well as many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Rosa Miller, and his great aunt Mildred and uncle Clive Gregg.

He loved Star Wars and the Dallas Cowboys football, and don’t forget his collection of comic books and graphic novels. He was very loved and cared for by his family and drew very close to them towards the end of his life. He came to be happy with his life and should be celebrated as such.
