It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dianne Marie Pineda on January 6, 2025. Born October 29, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas, Dianne was a bright soul that illuminated the lives of anyone she met.
She served five years in the US Army as an Equipment Records and Parts Specialist. After serving in Korea and Fort Lewis, Washington, Dianne established roots in Killeen, TX with her two daughters, Vannessa and Erika Rodriguez.
In her life, she exhibited a passion for playing pool with her many friends that remember her fondly. To those friends: once an angel, always an angel. She married Ronald E. Pineda on July 3, 2004 which not only began a long and loving marriage, but a football feud between his San Francisco 49ers and her Dallas Cowboys. Despite the friendly competition, Ron and Dianne took pride in their life full of laughs and care for each other and their pets: the late Brutus, Caesar, and Bori; currently Cleo, Chica, and Bella-Rue.
Lastly, Dianne took the utmost pride in her daughters who both currently serve in the US Army.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Ron; two daughters, Vannessa and Erika; a sister, Rhonda Thompson; a brother, Larry Thompson; and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Condolences and flowers may be sent to Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.
A visitation for Dianne will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 South Fort Hood Road, Killeen, TX 765421654, followed by a memorial service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
