

Funeral services for Earl Giles Foster, 77, of Harker Heights, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2011 at the Skyline Baptist Church in Killeen. Rev. Kenny Rawls will officiate. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Mr. Foster passed away Friday, September 16, 2011 at his residence.
He was born October 30, 1933 in Alva, Oklahoma to William Claude and Lois Alice (Chick) Foster. Earl married Helen D. Cramer on May 20, 1955 in Vallejo, California.
William served during the Korean War and retired from the United States Navy in 1972 after more than 21 years of active service and also retired from the Chesapeake Virginia Sherriff’s Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ed and Warren Foster, and a sister, Lois Foster.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen D. Foster of Harker Heights; a son and daughter-in-law, Earl B. and Sandy Foster of Garland, TX; a daughter, Bettyjean Foster of Chesapeake, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Linda Foster of Emporia, Kansas; sister, Melvina Bible of Texas; three grandchildren, Samantha Mallory, Christina Busby and Andrew Foster; two great grandchildren, Ayden Busby and Livie Gardner.
