Edmond was born March 31, 1922 in Florence, Texas to Eldy and Sadie McDaniel.
Edmond was raised in the Florence area. He dedicated 64 years of his life working in the Killeen community. He is a lifetime Eagle Scout.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Vider Lee McDaniel; son, Edmond “Larry” McDaniel and his wife Cathy Ann; daughter, Cathy Lynn Canova and her husband Michael; sister, Elmerle Daniel; brother, Elroy McDaniel; ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 in the evening on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. A Graveside Service will be 10:00 in the morning Thursday, September 30, in Lawler Cemetery, Florence, TX.
