

Eileen Huff passed away March 9, 2013, at a Temple hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Eileen was born in Morrillton, Arkansas, on June 27, 1946, to Wiley and Ruth (Jones) Croom. She received a bachelor's degree in history from the University of North Texas and a master's degree in education from Texas Women's University. On June 20, 1975, she married David Huff in Academy, Texas. She spent most of her working years in the Killeen Independent School District. Eileen was an educational diagnostician working in special education.
She is survived by her husband and son, David Logan, who is a teaching fellow and Ph.D. candidate at the University of North Texas, along with a brother, David Croom of Corsicana, Texas, and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Eileen was a beautiful person who truly loved the Lord and enjoyed Bible study at home. Through her work and life, Eileen influenced and affected the lives of so many people in her community.
Services for Eileen Huff of Killeen will be held Wednesday, March 13, at 10:00 a.m. at Crawford Browers Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Towers officiating. Visitation is Tuesday, March 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
