She was born January 7, 1932 in Killeen, to Alfred and Elsa Schulze, who are now deceased. She passed away March 11, 2017. She married Monroe Flentge, a classmate from KHS Class of 1949, in 2009. She was the mother of three sons, Gregg, Bruce and Paul; grandmother to eight with one great grandson.
