Elvira “Betty” Taylor peacefully went on to be with the Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 27, 2016. She was 76 years old. Betty was born on January 29, 1940 to Nathaniel Frazer and Geraldine Gibbs in the city Colon, Republic of Panama. Raised in Panama, Betty attended College Pablo San Jose schools. She enjoyed the nursing courses and this helped develop her passion of caring for others.
In 1963 Betty met the love of her life, James H. Taylor Sr., while he was stationed in Panama. Betty and James were married for a glorious 53 years, and to this union brought 5 children. She spent her life as a loving homemaker, taking care of her family and many other children entrusted into her care. She loved being with her family and friends, and her greatest joy came in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty had a gentle spirit and a contagious smile. She was very patient, had a big heart, and had a caring word for all. Betty enjoyed bowling, cooking, puzzles and playing Bingo. She had a gift of encouraging others and spent some time every day doing this.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Diallo S. Taylor, a Brother Rudolfo J. Frazer, and a Sister Sandra G. Frazer.
