Ernest Martinez Gonzales

He was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he married his loving wife, Victoria Sanchez Gonzales, over sixty years ago.

Ernest enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and spending time with his friends. Ernest dedicated his life to caring for his family, where he will be dearly missed, however his memory will forever live in our hearts.

Ernest is survived by his wife, Victoria Sanchez Gonzales; four sons: Ernesto Gonzales, Jr. (Killeen, TX), Johnny Gonzales (Belton, TX), Guadalupe Gonzales (St. Martinville, LA), Billy Joe Gonzales (Killeen, TX); two daughters, Rosie Jennings (Killeen, TX), and Lucy Gonzales (Killeen, TX); fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great –grandchildren; and two sisters, Lucia Salazar and Anita Castillo both from (Belton, TX).

He was preceded in death by his mother and father – Juanita and Leonard Gonzales; two brothers, Joe and Charlie Gonzales; two sisters, Mary Hernandez and Emma Guajardo, and a daughter, Geronima Gonzales.

Pallbearers include: Nicholas Gonzales, Ernesto Gonzales, Narciso Gonzales, Juan Gonzales, Antonio Gonzales, and Darrell Jennings.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 26, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Killeen City Cemetery.
