Chief Giacomozzi served his country and community well! He was quite supportive of city management. In 1989, he volunteered to talk to the city council to let them know the importance of a salary adjustment for ALL city employees.It was his appeal to the council that resulted in a what was a livable wage for the employees in the trenches and on the front lines at the time. He was unselfish and could be depended on through thick and thin. My condolences to Mrs. Giacomozzi, the Giacomozzi sons, and family. Rest in peace, Chief.

Mary, Chad and Brian. We have lost a very important part of our family in the loss of Jocky.  When things were difficult or stressful I always knew I could call him and he would have a way of helping me deal with the situation from a different point of view. He often sent me photos of his family with email about how proud he was of them.  I'm sure you were always equally proud of him and what he accomplished and in these difficult times that pride will show.  I know it certainly will here! The entire Giacomozzi family will morn this loss but we will all also always be here when you need us.

Celebrating a life well lived!  We will cherish the memories forever!   Mary Jo, you and the family are in my prayers.  Jock was one of the great ones!  Back in the early 70's I was his secretary when he was in the Patrol Division. There were plenty of pranks being pulled, but when it was time to be serious, he got down to the business at hand.  His actions speak for themselves when we look at the accomplishments he made for the police department as well as for the City of Killeen.  Take your rest, my friend, job well done!  You will be missed.

I was so saddened when I stopped by the hospital room on Wednesday to hear your beloved husband and father had died.  You were a lovely family to have encountered during Tuesday at the hospital.  He is so proud of all of you.  It was a difficult time to see someone you loved so much, in such discomfort.  However, the time you spent with him will always be precious.  
Mary, I know this is a very stressful time for you, but know that if you need to talk or cry, just call me.  Your support by your sons and your entire Killeen family will be there, but I am here when you may need another to support you.
