I am saddened.  I came on line to see arrangements for a friend who had passed. My heart sank when I saw Henevelyn's name here in the obituaries. She is a special soul. Henevelyn is one human being whom you know will absolutely and without doubt inherit God's kingdom. I had the honor of meeting both Henevelyn and Marshall at a cancer retreat. We had deep conversations about marriage, family and our faith in our Heavenly Father. Each year I looked forward to the retreat just to see them. God will proudly usher this soul into his kingdom. May our Heavenly Father be at the side of each family member as they grieve this immense loss. Blessings upon each of you.~Doris Syty

Henevelyn was a great lady and friend! We worked together at Meadows Elementary school. She was a strong women of faith and a good friend. She rests with our Lord now. She will be forever missed! Prayers for her family!

Mama Smith’s legacy will live on forever. Papa Smith we are praying for you and the family. You both have been an inspiration to my wife Margarita and me (Malcolm).  You gave us advice at our wedding, that the key to a successful marriage was communication over all things.  We try to impart that message as we give our premarital classes to new couples.

Every time we saw you two together all we could see is the love you have for each other.

May God watch over the soul of Henevelyn and give comfort to Marshall knowing that she is home after a wonderful life.  She can look back and say to herself and her vocation of marriage is complete and well done.

To the Smith Family: I am so sorry to hear about the Ms. Smith. I pray that God holds each of you closely to provide the comfort and peace that you need at this time.  I know Ms. Smith is at home and resting from her labor. Death is never an easy thing to endure, but trusting in God reminds us that Joy will come in time.  Hold to your faith, celebrate Ms. Smith life and keep in your hearts the memories that make you smile and laugh the most.   Rest assured, God will provide to you all that you need.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers -

The entire Smith family is a blessing to all who know them. My classmate and friend is Daughter Michele Smith Andy. She honored her mother, Henevelyn, in her life and we all praise God for her entry into Heaven. May God grant peace, comfort, and guidance to the Smiths.
