Ioma Furr

Services for Ioma Hinton Furr will be 9:30am Monday July 31, 2017 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

On Feb 11 1944 Ioma Hinton (Furr) was born into life by parents Robert Hinton and Mable Lee Lester. In 1959 she joined hands and married Jimmie L Furr, the love of her life. Ioma Furr was a homemaker, kind caring loving hearted person that always gave good advice. You could always talk to her and she would listen. She enjoyed dancing, exercising, going to church, shopping, traveling and spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by: her husband of 58 years, Jimmie Furr; her sister, Virginia Jones; her brother, Timothy Hinton; brother-in-law, David Furr, her son, Leslie Furr and wife Gay Hart; her daughter, Judy Watson (Furr) and husband Reginald Watson; her son, Mark Furr and wife Valerie Furr; her son, Jefferey Furr and wife Lanita Furr; her son, Corey Furr and wife Katrice Furr; along with 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, nieces nephews and numerous friends.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7pm Sunday July 30, 2017 at the funeral home.
