Funeral services for James Alfred Lea, 67, of Killeen, will be on Wednesday May 9, 2012 at 11 AM at Grace Christian Center in Killeen. Burial will follow the service at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
Mr. Lea was born January 20, 1945 in Caswell County, NC to General and Mary Pass Lea and passed away on May 3, 2012 in Killeen.
He served 28 years in the Army retiring at the rank of MSG on January 31, 1993 at Ft. Hood. He later worked for Wal-Mart distribution as a driver. He was an avid builder of cars and loved to find out what made things operate.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Myong Lea, his children James Lea, Jr., Vance Lea, Terry Lea and Jemimah Lea, a brother Artie Lea and a sister Mary Garland ad well as 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
