He was born May 29, 1973 in Burbank, CA to his proud and loving father, James Sr. Not long after, they moved to Quincy, IL where he spent his next 18 years with his father and sister Holly, then joined the military and made that his life. He became a father in 1995 to his beautiful daughter Tonya, who he loved as his own, and then in 1999 when his precious Hannah was born.
James spent his life protecting and serving his country. He was a Soldier and proud to be one, and his family was and will always be proud to call him ours. He would always do whatever he could to help a friend or family member in need, never asking anything in return. He truly had a heart of gold and it shined every day. He will sadly, but fondly, be missed by everyone he was ever able to touch.
He leaves behind his father, James Sr. of San Antonio, TX, his loving sister, who will always look up to and admire him, Holly (Roger) Hokamp of Quincy, IL, a little brother, Morgan Triplett of San Antonio, TX, his two beautiful girls Tonya Champagne and Hannah Triplett both of San Antonio, TX, an uncle/Godfather John L. (Jack) Triplett Jr. of Quincy, IL, aunt/Godmother Marylou Smith of Indianapolis, IN, grandmother Mary Justin Triplett of Quincy, IL, nephew Jayden Hokamp of Quincy, IL and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves his best friend and girlfriend who he loved very much Chantil Wright of Leesville, LA and her children Edward, Elijah, and Zion (the princess) whom he loved and cared for as a father.
