

He attended and graduated from Lake Fenton High School from 1977-1981. He continued his education at Big Bend Community College amd Central Texas College in which he earned an Associates in Applied Science & Technology. After earning his Associate Degree, he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Saint Leo University. He held employment at Vista College, Pilots Truck Stop as a General Manager, Team Leader at Target Corporation Store in Brunswick, Georgia, General Manager at Sears Holding Corporation in Valdosta Georgia and Waco, Texas, Assistant Store Manager at Academy Sports & Outdoors in Killeen, Texas, and a small business owner (JMF Repairs LLC "Small Home Repairs with BIG Results").
Jeffery married the love of his life, Manuela Freeland and they were married for 25 years. While in the Military they traveled together and made many memories. While serving in the Army, Jeffery earned many awards to include the Bronze Star Medal, Army Achievement Medal (7th Award), Army Achievement Medal (7 Award), Valorous Unit Award, Army Superior Unit Award, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Star (BSS), and the Non-Commissioned Professional Development Ribbon with 3 Bronze Star. He retired after a successful career of 23 years of service in the United States Army with the rank of Sergeant First Class.
Jeffery was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Freeland and his mother, Wanda Palso.
Jeffery is survived by his wife, Manuela Freeland and sons, David and Steven Freeland.
A Graveside Service with Full Military Honors for Jeffery will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
