Johnie B Morrison

Johnie B Morrison was born in Stanford, Texas on January 29, 1928 to John W. and Pauline Robinson. she confessed Christ as an early age and joined the Church of Christ of Anson Texas, where she was baptized. She attended school in Anson, Texas. She later met and married Jimmy Morrison. She moved to Killeen, Texas in 1965.

She was employed on Fort Hood, Texas where she retired with 25 years of tenure at the NCO Club. As a volunteer, she was a commissioner of the Moss Rose Housing Authority for 10 years, October 1 through September 30, 2011. She was a hard working woman that never met a stranger, everyone was welcomed in her house. Her door was always opened and she extended her home to everyone. She loved to cook. Her peach cobbler and home made biscuits were the best. She became a member of East Side Baptist Church and she loved her Sunday school class. She has been a member there for over 20 years.

Johnie departed this life on February 2, 2015. She had 11 children. 7 boys and 4 girls. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Robinson and Pauline Tiggs Moore, 4 brothers, James Robinson, Norman and Alvin Palm, and Otis Moore. One son James Willie Morrison and one granddaughter Sharonda Sauls. She leaves to morn, two sisters, Louis Clark (Joe) and Gloria Payton and Bobby Whitaker all of California.

She also leaves six sons Billie Joe Morrison (Esmeraldo) Port Lavoca Texas, Jimmy Dale Morrison Killeen Texas, Kenneth Wayne Morrison (Kathleen) Bowie Maryland, Walter Windrod (Tina) Harker Heights, Texas, Vincent Anthony (Sandy) Humble, Texas. Milton Ivory of Dixon, California. Her four daughters; Paulinea Maze ( Richard) Killeen, Texas, Burnardine Salter Killeen, Texas, ,Virginia Ivory Dixon California and Vanessa Ferguson (Randy) Pflugerville, Texas. She was blessed with fifty- four grand children, ninety- two great grand children and thirty- eight great- great grand-children. A host of nieces ,nephews, cousins. Uncle Clyde Smith (Frankie) Houston, Texas, Aunt Georgia Mae Jenkins Dallas, Texas.
