José was born in San Juan, PR, and retired in Killeen, TX. He served in the Army as an aviation mechanic, and for the majority of his career. He was a master in the kitchen, listened to salsa, and enjoyed fixing the cars of his and others. He was generous, sociable, brilliant, impeccable with his word, always willing to share wisdom, and encouraged others to do their best.
José is survived by his loving wife Widalys, son Alberto and his wife Ariel, daughter Chairis, mother Elsa, brother José (Jochi), and sisters Sonia and Elsa (Chama), and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was a devoted husband, dad, and friend. He will be missed by the many who had the pleasure in knowing him.
