Mr. Vasquez retired from the US Army and served in the Vietnam War and passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at his home in Killeen. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Emerico Vasquez.
Survivors include his wife, Celinda Vasquez of Killeen, three sisters, Elma Marie Lee of California, Eva Minchew of Dallas, and Elsa V. Cantu of Hebbronville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 on Sunday evening at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rosary at 7 p.m.
Funeral services for Juan "Johnnie" B. Vasquez, 75, of Killeen, will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2011 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Killeen. Burial will follow in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
