

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Lloyd and Kevin Bennett.
He is survived by his wife, Trudy (TH), brother Craig Bennett (Donna) sons Kris Bennett (Rexanna), Jace Bennett, Aaron Ramos (Norma), Jarrod Ramos, 12 grandchildren 34 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Kirk’s faith was strong. He loved God and country and served both, but above all he served God. He was a member of Lifeway Fellowship Church where he served as an elder and Sunday school teacher.
Kirk served in the United States Navy in the Naval Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit 301 and received the Vietnam Service Medal, With Fleet Marine Force Combat Operations Insignia and Two Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device and the National Defense Service Medal.
He was an Eagle Scout (Order of the Arrow), life member of the Disabled American Veterans chapter 29, where he was a service officer and Past Commander, a life member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9192, Member of The Army Historical Foundation, Honorary Member of Paralyzed Veterans of America, and a Member of Veterans Helping Veterans.
Kirk was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all.
