Lucia R Colon

Born in Vigo, Spain on December 20, 1945, Lucia was the daughter of Rosa Pèrez Martinez and Francisco Rodriguez. She grew up alongside her two brothers in a loving home that instilled in her the deep family values that guided her throughout her life.

Lucia shared 57 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Josè Antonio Colòn Resto. Their love and partnership were the foundation of a strong and close-knit family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Josè Antonio Colòn Resto; her children Celinda Hernandez, Esmeralda Colon-Zuniga, and Naphtali Colon; her grandchildren Mireyah Torres, Brianna Zuniga-Colon, Jose A Zuniga-Colon, Saevonii Dula-Colon, and Isaiah Colon-Brown; and her treasured great-grandchildren Arihana, Brinley, Cameron, Gabriel and Duran.

Lucia was the heart of her family – gentle, kind, and endlessly loving. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of togetherness. She found her greatest joy in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on for generations.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Lucia lived with grace, kindness, and unwavering devotion to God and her family. Her faith guided her every step, and she shared His love through her compassion, her prayers, and the way she cared for everyone around her.

We gather not only to mourn her passing, but to honor a life lived in faith, love, and service.

In honor of Lucia, we kindly ask that guests wear bright and spring colors. Lucia loved vibrant, joyful colors, and she would have wanted everyone to remember her in the beautiful colors she adored. Your presence will be a blessing as we celebrate Lucia’s life, her faith, and the love she leaves behind.

Visitation is Sunday, January 25, 2026, from 1 to 3 pm at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home with the service following at 3 pm.

Burial is scheduled for Monday, January 26, 2026, at 9 am at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Lucia R Colon, born on December 20, 1945, passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 80. She was a resident of Killeen, Texas.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, located at 1615 South Fort Hood Road, Killeen, TX 765421654.

A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue on Sunday, February 1, 2026, starting at 3:00 pm.

The committal service is scheduled for Monday, February 2, 2026, at 9:00 am at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, located at 11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542.
