Marcella—known lovingly as “Cella” to most—was warm, caring, and deeply devoted to her family. She had a strong presence and a love that showed up in quiet, meaningful ways. Family was everything to her, and some of her happiest moments were spent with her parents and sisters, laughing, and simply being present with one another.
Cella had a creative spirit and loved to create and craft with her hands. She especially cherished time spent with her grand-nieces and nephews, delighting in their company and watching them grow. Her warmth, creativity, and love will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her siblings: Denise Schmidt (Doug Schmidt), Amanda Cahall, and Nolia Lanza (Gary Lanza).
She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Matthew Lanza, Jeremy Lanza (Stephanie Lanza), Joseph Lanza, Ray Briggs II (Emily Briggs; father Ray Briggs), Kyle Cahall, and Danielle Cahall; and by her grand-nieces and nephews: Jane Alice Briggs, Elizabeth Marcella Briggs, Louis Hunter-Lanza, and Samuel Lanza.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Flores Garcia and Alice Olvera Garcia, as well as Michael Garcia, Keith Cahall, and Brian Lanza.
