Marjorie was born in Barton, Ohio on February 1, 1935 to Carl Washington and Mary Virginia Beal Worrell and later Adopted by Mr. & Mrs. Dale West. She loved to travel, cook, dance, and go shopping (Burlington-was her favorite store). She loved her two dogs Maggie & Mini, they meant the world to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and adopted parents, her husband, Richard Banta in 2019, her siblings, Mary, George, Howard, Bobby, Alma and Dorothy.
Left to cherish her memory are her six sons, John Jr, Dale and (Becky), Chris and (Hattie), Mark and (Norma), Tommy and (Linda), Robert and (Rachel) and her two brothers, Jim and Don. Also, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for Marjorie will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 South Fort Hood Road, Killeen, TX 765421654. The funeral service is Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 6:00 PM. Burial is Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542.
