Marrion "Marty" Wells

Marty was born November 30, 1945 to William Marrion and Bonnie Marie (Borror) Wells, Jr. in Garnett, Kansas. As a Master Plumber, he was the owner/operator of Tasha-Wa Plumbing for 34 years before his passing. The family would like to thank all of his business associates for all the years of service. He served in the U. S. Army for 14 years, which included 3 tours of duty in Vietnam. Marty was a big Cowboys fan, was very kind hearted and always willing to help someone in need. His hobbies included camping, fishing, travel, and BB-Qs. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the VFW as well as the American Legion.

Mr. Wells is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Terry Morgan, and two brothers, William Marrion Wells, III and Larry Dale Wells.

Survivors include his wife, Heide; sons Rick Wells, Wayne Wells (Debra), Michael Todd Wells (Karen), Rick Matthews (April), and Patrick Matthews (Leah); daughters Teresa Beliew (Tracy), Paula Morris (Lanny), Tasha Gibson (Darren) and Tricia Purkey (Danny); sisters Phyllis Grim, Cricket Horton, Laura Sly, and Sherri Dannels; grandchildren, Randy, Emmy and Bethy Wells, Tim and Brittany Beliew, Brandy Pyburn, Cassie and Tia Sanderson, Jasmine, Dezmond, Darian, and Nevaeh Gibson, David, Danielle, Racheal, Ryan, and Brittany Matthews, Brooke Farmer, and Brianna Purkey; great-grandchildren, MaKiah, Annabelle, and Yvonne Ramsey, Elijah Sanderson, Destiny Matthews, Desire Huckeby, Ciara Matthews, Koreelyn Rogers, and Jaydeen Nichols.

Arrangements for Mr. Wells are under the direction of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen.
