

She was united in holy matrimony to Ramon Ysaguirre on February 20, 1951. The two fell in love after meeting at the Charro Days Parade in Brownsville, Texas. Mimi and Ray flourished a beautiful relationship for 65 years and blessing their surroundings with five delightful children.
Living as a Military Spouse, Mimi achieved being a great support for her husband and a strong brace for her family. She enjoyed gardening, football, dancing and family gatherings. A gorgeous smile with a lively, big hearted outlook on life blessed many people over the years.
Her life was as beautiful as the flowers that she gardened.
Mimi received her angel wings and departed this life on August 25, 2016.
Her wonderful life will forever be cherished by her children, daughters Norma spouse Billy Horton, Melinda spouse Guy Hornikel, Delia spouse Van Parker and sons John spouse Barbara Ysaguirre, Robert spouse Vera Ysaguirre.
Her grandchildren, Diane, Danny, JR, Robert, Christian, Julia, Jesse, Roman and Mercedes were also blessed with her compassionate view of living.
She also touched many of her great grandchildren’s hearts, Austin, Morgan, Jonathan, James and Jasmyne.
Services will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, August 30th, 2016 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Interment will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
