"Redneck Ray" Foster

Funeral services for Raymond Lee Scott "Redneck Ray" Foster, 24, of Killeen, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Burial will follow in Killeen City Cemetery. Mr. Foster died June 22, 2011, at his home.

He was born Oct. 24, 1986, in Temple.

Mr. Foster enjoyed life and was always having fun and making people laugh. His many hobbies included hunting, NASCAR, football and welding.

After being diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2006, Raymond continued his bright outlook on life even though confined to a wheelchair. He leaves behind a family who will miss his smile and the joy he brought into their lives.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen Wilson; and his grandfathers, Raymond Wilson and Marvin Foster Sr.

Survivors include his mother and father, Kimberly Foster and Marvin Lee Foster Jr. of Killeen; a sister, Cassandra Foster of Ball Ground, Ga.; grandmother, Kay Foster of Killeen; aunts, Tammy Baxter, Lisa Foster and Tabitha Dienglewicz; uncle, Tim Wilson of Belton; and caregiver and companion, Tia Butler.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
