He was born in Waco Texas on January 6 1936 to the late Eluterio and Modesta Tristan. He joined the United States Army in 1955 and served his country for 24 years.
He married Dorothy Tristan on February 20, 1959. She was his heart for 55 years.
He was an awesome man of God who loved to serve the Lord. He was a member of Destiny World Outreach Center, where he was an usher.
He was constantly helping others in need. He was loved and admired by many. He was an awesome husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa.
He was survived by his wife Dorothy Tristan, four children: Rachel Williams, Stephen, Gabriel, and Sylvia Tristan. He also is survived by four grandchildren: Lessie, Qui'Anna, Alici'Anna and Santos and one great-grandson Jackson.
A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. His Homegoing will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Destiny World Outreach Center. Burial will take place right after at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
