Ruth Isabelle Plett

Ruth was a loving wife to Mendo Plett, who precedes her in death.

She earned a degree as a Registered Nurse and began a life-long career in a field that was a great passion of hers.

Ruth was a faithful member of Bethel Church of Killeen.

She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters; Jean Fidiam, Betty Fidiam and Barbara Culbertson; 2 brothers; William and Victor Fidiam and 1 grandson, Matthew Burts.

Ruth leaves to cherish her memories, 4 daughters; Jeannie (David) Burts of Phoenix, AZ, Betty (James) Obermeyer of Desert Hills, AZ, Cheryl (Jon) Slusser of Scottsdale, AZ and Karen (Al) Hutchison of Belton, TX.

She will also be deeply missed by 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The Plett family will receive guests for a time of visitation on Sunday November 6, 2011 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. Funeral will be held on Monday November 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen with Rev. John Abbey and Rev. Bob Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Killeen Memorial Park Cemetery.
