Services for Ruth M. “Mamma Ruth” Williams, 94 of Killeen will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, at Greater Vision Community Church with Pastor David G. Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Killeen City Cemetery. Mrs. Williams died Sunday, April 4th in a Killeen nursing home.
She was born on October 28, 1915 to Thomas and Nellie McClinton in Kingsbuary, Guadalupe County, Texas. She attended Ball High in Seguin, Texas. Then later married Joe Williams and they moved to San Antonio, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Williams, and a daughter, Marjorie Nell Eads. She is survived by two daughters, Velma Madison and Vera Doughty both of Killeen, TX; two sons, Joseph Williams of Houston and Fletcher Wilson of San Antonio; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four great –great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
