

Virginia Kathryn Hilles Biggs passed away on June 17, 2021 at 1:16pm at the house of her daughter after a short illness. She was born and lived her early life in Pennsylvania, where she married Carl Irving Levin then moved to Germany where their duty station was. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Texas. After divorcing Carl, she married David Louis Biggs on June 17, 1978 in Killeen.
She worked at Killeen Pest Control for five years. After that, she worked over 15 years for KISD, from where she retired.
Her most important job during the years she was married to David was raising her four children, and loving grandchildren.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Harold Hilles, Jr., and Elanore Pauline Hilles; one brother, who passed away as an infant; her son Chad Warren Levin; and husband, David Louis Biggs.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Ann Zimmerman and her husband, Galen, of Killeen; Kari Elizabeth Hibler and her husband, Slade, of Belton; and (C.W.) Charles-William Stacy Biggs and his wife, Ginger, of Killeen. She is survived by ten grandchildren: Austin Chad Levin, Eden Channon Levin, Galen Wayne Zimmerman, Matthew Allyn Zimmerman, Heather Nicole Halpain, Megan Leigh Hibler, Vallie Autrey Hibler, Darryl Alden Biggs, Kasyn Zane Biggs, Charlee-Rae Elizabeth Biggs and one great-grandson, Ethan Dane Halpain.
The viewing will be June 29th, 6-8PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 S. Fort Hood Street, Killeen, Texas. Her funeral will be June 30th at 2PM at the same location. The family welcomes your attendance.
