Winnie Hilliard

Services for Winnie Hilliard, 67, of Harker Heights will be 10am Friday July 6, 2012 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hilliard passed away July 3, 2012 in her home in Harker Heights after a short battle with cancer.

She was born July 7, 1944, in Hillsboro, TX, to Gordon and Murline Young. She grew up in Killeen and graduated from Killeen High in 1962.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years; Charles Hilliard, four children; Teresa Kight and husband Carl, Merle Hilliard and wife Marla, Earl Hilliard and wife Nona, and Guy Hilliard and wife Brandy, grandchildren; Bart Kight, Lacee Kight, Joshua Hilliard, and wife Tiffany, Jordon Hilliard, Shelby Hilliard, Savanna Hilliard, and Hailey Hilliard, great grand children; C.J. Kight and Loralei Hilliard, and sister Debbie Ann Young.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Maxdale Cowboy Church Building Fund.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm Thursday July 5, 2012 at the funeral home.
