Aleida Munoz

Aleida was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras to Elba (Tina) and Alfredo Munoz. A fond memory from her childhood was when she would always hide behind a big barrel so she would not have to go to school. The problem was her older brother was told to follow her to school!

When she was 23, she joined her mother in New Orleans, Louisiana. After Hurricane Katrina, she and her mother relocated to the Houston area, She spent several years with her sister, Lillian and her husband Matt before she moved to the Clute, Tx area.

She was neat, caring and hard working.

Her faith in God was shared with many. Her prayers were offered every day for the various needs that needed attention. She eagerly studied God's message. She was eager to share these teachings and love with her family and others.

These verses in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 capture Aleida's walk;

"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ

Jesus".

Undoubtedly, her years of being the prime caregiver for her aging mother was a huge contribution of dedication not only to her mother but the entire Munoz family.

Aleida is survived by her dear sister, Lillian (Matthew), her brothers, Renan (Yamile), Javier (Dania), Adonay (Kayleen), and Osman (Amber). She is also survived by several nephews and nieces: Fabiola, Adonay, Henry, Alex Josue, Cayla, and Anthony. At her death, she was also survived by her mother, Tina, who passed away eight days later. It is a blessing that the mother and caregiving daughter can make their heavenly journey together.

Her older granddaughter wrote a beautiful tribute to her aunt. It is located on the Kingwood Funeral Home website as it is too lengthy for this setting.

A special thank you to the Clute congregation members who so faithfully visited the hospital for Aleida's lengthy 5 week stay in the ICU. Many friends spent hours with the family as well. Thank you all for your support.
