

Alfred graduated from McKinley high school.
After graduating from high school, Alfred enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served our Country as an Electronic Technician on multiple ships. After his separation from the Navy, he continued his education and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Trine University.
Alfred met Karen M. Schubert in high school and eventually married, she was the love of his life, they were married for 57 years.
Alfred had a career in Electrical/Project Engineering for General Electric, Reliant Electric, McKee Engineering, ARAMCO, John Brown and Technip. Alfred retired at the age of 69.
He was a member of the Masons, the Shriners, the Corvette Club, and the Senior Bowling league in Humble and had a passion for playing golf, displaying miniature trains, making paper airplanes, International travel, bowling, photography, and driving his corvette with the club.
He was survived by his loving wife, Karen M. Schubert; his sons Fred Schubert, Jeff Schubert and wife Pam; his grandchildren, Trey Schubert and Emily Schubert; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
