Alvin Leon Eggleston

Memorial services for Alvin Leon Eggleston, 91, of Porter, Texas, will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Kingwood Funeral Home. A reception and visitation will be held from 2:30-4:00pm, Saturday, after the service.

Mr. Eggleston was born January 30, 1931 to Artie and Eula Mae Eggleston and passed away on July 22, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Ray Eggleston. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Len Hicks and Frank Hicks. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; and three sons, Aaron and wife Dea, Donald Ray, and Curtis; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends. He was a retired printing pressman who spent over 50 years in the printing business.
