Brittany Leilani Goodin

Brittany accepted Christ as her personal saviour at a ‘’church camp in the woods in the big pool.’’ LOL Actually, it was Humble Area First Baptist Summer Church Camp in 2010.

As a small tot she began her education at Oak Forrest Elementary where her artistic abilities soon began. She furthered her education at Atascocita High School in Humble, Texas where she completed her Junior year. She had a way of taking things that were nothing and turning them into something beautiful. Her artistic approach was very unique! Brittany’s bold, boisterous, outspoken, yet charming personality was infectious. When ‘’Britt’’ was in the room, YOU KNEW SHE WAS THERE, from her unique and ‘’owned’’ sense of style, self-expression, crazy ‘’hat-life’’, her long legs and big pretty blues.

To know Brittany was to love her, you had no choice! Her eclectic yet quiet, yet bold statue spoke VOLUMES. Popularity wasn’t her thing, but…she owned it too! Brittany made BEING YOURSELF OKAY! SHE ROCKED IT!! The writings on the walls proved that she left her mark…’’Britt wasn’t here’’ or ‘’Britt didn’t do this!’’

Her memory lives on brightly in the lives of her family: Her mother Katrina Kirkpatrick; father Curtis Goodin and wife Joanna; step-fathers Brian Meheut and Ricky Kirkpatrick. Brittany is cherished by her grandparents: Kathy Gresham, maternal grandmother; William ’’Bill’’ Holloway, maternal grandfather; Darrell Gresham, maternal grandfather; Regina Meheut, paternal grandmother; Yves Meheut, paternal grandfather; Linda Kirkpatrick, paternal grandmother; and ‘’Grandma’’ Shirley Savell. Also cherishing her memory are siblings Curt Goodin, Jonathan Goodin, Ashlyn Taylor Meheut, Brittney Meheut, Chris Meheut, Ashley Kirkpatrick (also her BFF), Katie Kirkpatrick, and Kara Kirkpatrick. Brittany had a special relationship with her Aunt ‘’Nay Nay’’ (MarNay’ Warren), and Uncle Chris Holloway, Aunt Becky; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Brittany joined her brother Dylan to skateboard in the sky on May 30, 2015. Brittany, we love you, SKATE FOREVER!
